The idea behind tapping in traditional Chinese practice is simple. The body has lines of energy, the meridians, and gently moving along them with rhythm and attention is thought to invite a small return to oneself. You don't have to believe in anything cosmic for it to feel useful: most people who try it describe it as something between a fidget and a meditation.
Five minutes is enough to start. Stand or sit comfortably, hold the stick loosely, and tap softly along the arms: outside down, inside up. Move to the legs, same pattern. Then the back, then a few gentle taps along the head and behind the neck. Notice where it feels good and stay there longer. Notice where it doesn't and move on.
The stick we sell is hand-finished, light enough to use without thinking. We're not promising it will fix anything; it's a tool that makes a daily ritual a little easier to come back to. If you have a health concern, please speak with a qualified healthcare professional before practising.
